On installation day the crew removes the old door, installs the new door with fresh tracks and springs, balances it properly, programs the opener and tests the safety reversal before leaving. The old door goes with us for disposal and the garage is left clean.

A standard single or double door swap runs 3 to 5 hours. Custom sizes, framing changes or adding an opener can stretch that, and your estimate will include the expected timeline.
Do I need a new opener with a new door?
Not always. If yours is under about 10 years old and rated for the new door’s weight, we adjust and reprogram it and you keep it. If it’s older we’ll quote a quiet belt-drive smart opener as an option, since doing both at once saves on labour.
Is an insulated garage door worth it in Ontario?
On an attached garage, yes, without much debate. An R-12 or better door keeps the garage far warmer through a GTA winter, protects whatever you store in there, cuts street noise, and reduces heat loss into rooms above the garage.
Do you remove and dispose of my old door?
